Our mission is to enable the Bwindi Community to break the cycle of poverty and HIV/AIDS
through education and aid to the most vulnerable of its residents.
Our present focus is primary education.
We will change lives, one person at a time.

Bwindi Community Program, a 501(c), non profit, applying for 501(c)(3) charitable status.

Uganda is located in central Africa and is considered a part of the East African Countries. The village of Buhoma, also known as Bwindi because of its location at the gate to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (home of the Mountain Gorillas) lies in extreme southwestern Uganda. It is a remote village, approximately ten-hours drive from the capital, Kampala. International charities serve the larger cities of Uganda, primarily Kampala, and tend to overlook the small villages.
